The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has blacklisted 165 secondary schools in Kwara State for examination malpractices.
The affected schools are unfold throughout the three Senatorial Districts of the State.
WAEC carried out the examinations between April 8th and May 31st, 2019, throughout the nation.
Reacting to the unhappy improvement in a press release in Ilorin, by his spokesman Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, described it “as unfortunate.”
He threatened heavy sanctions towards the varsity heads or officers caught aiding and abetting examination malpractices within the state.
“The event is the worst within the historical past of the State,”
Governor Abdulrazaq lamented.
