2015 BBC African Footballer of the Year – When the list of the BBC African Footballer OF year was announced, the question that came to the minds of millions of Africans both home and Abroad was “Who will win the 2015 BBC African footballer of the year 2015?

The list boast of the likes of Premier league trio which comprises of the likes  of yaya toure of Manchester city fc, Southampton and Senegalese striker Sadio Mane and Andre Ayew, who plys his trade for the Wales based Swansea City and Ghana. According to our analysis, these three players are the main contenders from the Five man shortlist for the BBC African footballer of the
year 2015.


According to records, this award have been initially won in the past by Andre Ayew in 2011, YaYa Toure in 2013.

 The shortlist for the BBC African footballer for the year 2015 as it where,  was actually compiled by a panel of sports journalists from 46 African countries and the winner, which will be decided by a public vote that would be announced on 11th December 2015.

2. Yaya Toure : Country Ivort Coast plays for Manchester City of England

3. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: country Gabon plays for Borusia Dortmund of Germany

4. Sadio Mane: country senegal plays for Southampton of England

5. Andre Ayew: country Ghana plays for swansea city fc of england.
