Well it for any citizen of a foreign country who wishes to enter the United States of America must first and foremost obtain a USA visa, of either a nonimmigrant visa which is a Visa for temporary stay or an immigrant visa for permanent stay.
The Difference Between nonimmigrant visa and immigrant visa
There are lots of difference between immigrant visa and nonimmigrant visa and one of the major difference is that immigrant is a visa which is issued to people who is traveling to a foreign country for permanent stay while nonimmigrant visa is issued to people traveling for temporary stay like tourists, business people, students.

All applicants applying for the very first time, the thing you have to do is to determine your visa type from the list of visa types bellow
Exchange Visitor Visa
Transit/Ship Crew Visa
Domestic Employee Visa
Journalist and Media Visa.
Please Note that each of the visa type will be what will determines the qualifications and application requirements you would need. Choose the visa type that applies to your situation.
After determining your visa type, you are to proceed and pay non-refundable, non-transferable visa application fee. This fee is referred to as the MRV fee. I will be showing you the link to do that. Please make sure that you keep your receipt number to book your visa appointment.
After you are done with the payment with the unrefundable Visa Fee, you are to complete the DS-160 form. Please note that you are to make sure that all information provided are correct and accurate. This is due to the fact once the form is submitted, you cannot make any changes. At this stage you are almost ready to schedule your visa appointment!
